ABOUT US

Three Wishes Farm is a boutique warmblood sporthorse breeding program for top hunters, jumpers, equitation, and dressage horses

A wealth of experience riding and training on the American Hunter/Jumper ‘A’ circuit informs our decisions, helping us breed top hunters, jumpers and equitation horses for today’s market. We carefully select stallions with the end product in mind - with some of our broodmares we focus on breeding performance hunters, while with others our goal is top level jumpers.  Pedigree, performance, and phenotype are three key criteria we use to evaluate our mares and match them to stallions.

Anneliese Kannow

Anneliese started riding before she could walk and has grown up around the show ring. She began riding on the A circuit with her small pony Who’s That Girl when she was eight, and won ribbons in the small pony hunter division at Indoors. She finished sixth in the national USEF Medium Pony Hunter standings and won the Medium Pony Hunter Championship at Pony Finals in 1991 with her pony Another Rainbeau. Anneliese had many successes in the junior hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions on such wonderful horses as Stuffed Toy, Lismore, and Sateur, qualifying every year since the age of 13 for the Medal, Maclay, and USET finals. She was fourth in the West Coast USET Talent Search Finals when she was 14 and third when she was 15.

In 2000 she won the West Coast USET Talent Search Finals and was invited to train with the US Equestrian Team in Gladstone New Jersey, but chose instead to attend law school and remain an amateur. In 2003 Anneliese traveled to the National Horse Show to compete in and win the inaugural USEF Adult Medal Finals. Over the past few years, Anneliese has been very successful in the amateur owner hunter division and the USHJA Hunter Derbies with Mad Hatter, placing 5th at the Pin Oak Charity Hunter Derby in 2008 and winning the USHA Zone 10 Amateur Owner Hunter Championship in 2009. Anneliese now concentrates on breeding, training, and showing young hunters and ponies, and running her highly successful tutoring business.
